Popular Journalist and Chief Executive Officer of Ovation Media group, Dele Momodu has been informed that members of the party and not leaders are those who would determine the candidate in the 2023 general elections.  He was informed by the national chairman of the People's Democratic party (PDP) Iyorchia Ayu on Thursday when Momodu visited him at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja to present his letter of intent to contest for the presidential ticket of the party.   The United State has imoosed sanction on five North Koreans yesterday, this is linked to the country's ballistic missile program, this comes a day after the country carried carried out what it said to be the launch of a hypersonic missile.   The treasury department said the five North koreans that have been sanctioned were responsible for procuring goods for the DPRK's(North Korea's) weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile related programs.   According to Channels tv coverage, Brian Nelson , the secretary of the treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence stated that part of the United state's ongoing effort to counter the DPRK's weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs target it's continued use of overseas representatives to illegally procure goods for weapons and these are further evidence that it continues to advance prohibited programs despite the international community's calls for diplomacy and denuclearization. Terror strikes as 19 peeople meet their death in a fire outbreak that broke out from an apartment block in New York City leaving 60 people injured and 13 people still in critical conditions at the hospital, the mayor of the city, Eric Adams reiterated that the fire can be said to be one of the worst to occur in modern times adding that it is indeed a tragedy and calls out the city to keep praying for the innocent lives that has been cut short. The New York City fire department commissioner, Daniel Nigro stated that the fire fighters were able to rescue some of the victims despite running out of oxygen in their tanks, According to Sky reports majority of the victims of the fire are suffering from severe smoke inhalation and the fire has been said to be caused by a malfunctioning electrical space heater, as recounted by the reporter said that the firefighter also did their bit to stop the fire, pushing smoke out of the building and rescuing victims from the massive 19-storey building.
