Amebo ward and the politics of it must be me attitude and the need for governor's intervention.

PDP Amebo Ward is ward in Ibagwa aka under Igbo Eze South LGA where politicians believe that if not me no other person should be there at all cost in total negligence to the governor's instruction which is in line with the party's constitution.
It is with utmost regret that PDP, a party that preaches rule of law and constitutional governance has turned around to break the law with utmost impunity by making their leaders to emerge in an unconstitutional manner and in total disobedience to His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburugburu). One will wonder, if our Governor don't have right to tell or educate Amebo Ward on what to do or how how to do in respect to the principle and the manner they will elect their leaders?

On 3rd January, 2022 the entire PDP Igbo Eze South LGA aspirants ranging from the local council chairmanship contestants which are twenty eight in number down to the numerous counsellorship aspirants were present with their supporters. His Excellency, issued a directive that anyone residing outside his ward for instance, anyone contesting in Ibagwa aka but is residing in Nsukka should not contest because a counselor should reside with his constituents just as him, the governor is residing in the Enugu metropolis and that anyone holding an executive position in his ward must resign before contesting.

On 7th January, 2022 PDP Amebo Ward held their primary election where chief Ugwoke Emmanuel, the ward chairman insisted that the Governor's instructions should not be followed or if there is any aggrieved party such person should file a petition or contact the Governor. In total disobedience and negligence to the governor's directive Amebo Ward at the instance of the chairman went ahead to elect one of the ward executive member, occupying the position of the ward youth leader that is residing in Abuja that just came for the election only despite the heavy protest by other aspirants and many others present.

By this, I call on the Governor, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburugburu) to intervain so that Amebo Ward will do the needful by declaring the second runner up in the election the winner in the person of Mr. Uche Toochi Israel.
