China on lockdown as covid-19 battles ensues.

The great city of Beijing, China confines five million citizens to their homes due to the high rate of the Corona Virus attacks which stems from the omicron variant, this has led to border restrictions, lengthy quarantines due to her preparation for the hosting of the winter Olympics next month.

 The fast spreading omicron has presented a current challenge in a city of the country named Anyang, the lockdown took affect on Monday after a notice went out from authorities  in Anyang ordering residents not to leave their homes or be seen on the road as reported by the state news agency Xinhua.

According to reports, the city already restricted outbound travels in order to ensure that it is not spread outside the country border, it is also noted that there have been 58 new local infections reported in Anyang bringing the city's total cases of 84 on Saturday,also in Henan, three cities are battling outbreaks daily and this has brought schools and businesses to a stand still.

On the channels reports, it confirms that one million people in  the city of Yuzhou are on stay-at-home orders and Tianjin a major port City in the country and which is 150km from Beijing has restricted people from leaving without official permission, carried out series of test on the residents and cancelled trains into the capital

Other cities in the country live in fear as the spread rate increases daily leading to the suspension of human activities in the country till further notice.
